VORS  offers education, discussion forums, networking and vendor outreach to help communities manage organic residuals* as a resource. The Summit brings together technical experts, regulators, community leaders and the general public interested in organics recycling issues - - from strategies for diverting these materials from landfills to improving soil fertility and watershed health by increasing the capture and reuse of nutrients in organic materials.

*Organic residuals, sometimes called ‘organics’ or ‘organic materials,’ refers to carbon-based materials –  horticulture/garden waste, food waste, manures,  paper products, etc.
