Soil Builders Education for Action - Using compost & other strategies to protect soil & water in the Lack Champlain Basin

The Composting Association of Vermont and Northwest Solid Waste District are hosting a FREE workshop on Wedensday, September 17th, 2025, in South Hero, VT

Healthy Soils, Clean Waters: A Watershed Approach to Protecting the Lake Champlain Basin explores the vital connections between soil health and water quality. This workshop highlights practical strategies that engaged groups and individuals can implement in their communities to reduce erosion, improve soil structure, and safeguard local waterways.

The workshop is free and open to all. Registration is encouraged.
